Silica Dust Abatement

We hold a range of Vacuums for all industrial purposes. It has become apparent lately that Silica dust in NZ has not been seen as a serious threat to health. We are aware that WorkSafe is taking a stand on this hazardous dust and is now requiring that all silica dust be managed using hazardous dust extraction devices such as vacuum cleaners which comply with the AS/NZ standard 60335.2.69. In part this requires vacuums have the capability to ensure contaminated dusts are captured and processed so not to release dust particles into the environment.
